Technical Project Manager
Own the software factory for the Portfolio Management System with a strong focus on automation, software quality, frequent deployment and continuous improvement.
Play a pivotal role across software development, quality engineering, and operations to design, build, and deliver the best tooling and processes.
Implement reliable tools and lean processes that allow Software Development teams to work free of impediments.
Drive the deployment of each release across all environments of the software factory including production.
Review regularly the deployment dependencies of each release in order to provide feedback to the release roadmap.
Monitor the release backlog and planning to make sure these deployment dependencies are respected.
Build, Deployment Support
Improve continuously the automatic deployment process.
Review the quality metrics (e.g. test coverage, bug trends, etc.) that must be satisfied to deploy a software build in each environment of the software factory.
Monitor the deployment outcome in each environment of the software factory.
Administer all components of the software factory in all environments.
Automate the configuration of all environments of the software factory (including data refresh).
Improve the source code management (especially branching) and packaging practices.
Improve the production monitoring dashboards (e.g. runtime exception trends, garbage collection behavior, etc.) to enable proactive detection of production incidents.
Adapt the configuration the sensors that feed the production monitoring dashboards.
Software engineer degree or equivalent with 5+ years on J2EE
Proven ability to automate and speed up build and release process.
Hands-on experience with continuous integration & build environments running Bamboo.
Hands-on experience with source code management tools and best practices (especially branching) with GIT and Bitbucket Server (formerly Stash).
Experience of using tools (such as SonarQube) to integrate and automate best practices such as static code analysis, automated unit tests and integration tests, code coverage analyzers, creation of sandbox systems, etc..
Previous work experience in an agile product development team.
Ability to work well in a team environment and independently while tackling complex problems.
Effective spoken and written communication skills in English and French.
Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
